Progress~

I thought I'd give a little update to what I've been doing while waiting for jobs to come along... as I'm still working on revamping my website and portfolio, I'm taking up some random things to do...

I'm planning to sell fanart at otakon this year, probably a few old ones and my latest one, Edward from FMA. Also joining up with Moul again this year to make a 15-18 page manga short story for otakon as well. Hope you're all doing well!

Me

I am me! Most of you know who I am, and if you don't, you just don't know what your missing! Anyway, my main website's www.bloodandtheartofbaking.com. There you'll find the End City comics that I have trouble finding time to update these days. Still, if you like tales of intrigue, lesbians, demons, vampires, baking, thieves, pirates, and sometimes other stuff, enjoy! And if you don't, why the hell not? Anyway, u can find a lot of my newer illustration on my DA account at evelartgir.deviantart.com. Enjoy! :P

Introduction - Take Two!

Hey Tintin! Sounds like a great idea! (I wasn't sure if you wanted me to have my introduction as a comment or post, but I figured I'd mix them together...)

Anyway... Hello! I'm Candice!

Currently interning for 4Kids Entertainment in the graphic design department as well as working part-time at a frame shop. I graduated from SVA as an animation major, but looking to enter the manga industry instead.

As for projects, on the personal side, I'm working on completely changing my portfolio to suit manga instead of animation, including my website...business wise, well I'll hold off on that for now. :)

Looking forward to working with everyone and definitely to meeting new people!

Introductions

Hey Guys,

This is just an informal blog for our group. I wanted to start a loose comics group like Estrigious, where we can help each other network for comics & illustration jobs, information and events, and project some kind of unified image. More power in numbers right? We're not even a formalized studio- although if that works out I'd live to make Sekhmet into a business- but right now just a circle of people who love similar things:

Feminist, manga, fantasy, dark fantasy, horrror, Romance (as in the period), Gothic themes

On this blog we can talk about the projects we're working on, possible jobs and venues, and just life in general.

Right now our lineup is

Eve Grandt
Alice Meichi Li
Candice Chow
Tintin Pantoja

I'm hoping we grow eventually.

Would you care to say a little about yourselves and what you're working on right now?
